Summer Programs

The Town of Minto runs an eight-week structured Summer Day Camp program each year out of the Palmerston and Harriston arenas, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Extended care options are available from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Our program operates in pods of 15 kids with 2 leaders and offers a day filled with games, crafts, outdoor adventures, and our very own separate swim time daily at the public pool.  Registrations are weekly and the rate is $150/week. 

Aquatics is an important part of summertime fun for all ages! Both the Palmerston and Harriston pools operate 7 days a week in July and August. At our pools, we offer a variety of programs from private swim lessons, swim team, lane swim, aqua fitness, public swim, and family swim. Private rentals are also available!

Grassroots programs are a great opportunity for kids and adults to learn a new sport or activity. In previous years we have run soccer, T-ball, 3-Pitch, basketball, ball hockey and Try it Sports (a sampling of multiple sports). New program ideas and volunteers are always welcome!
